OUR LAST DAY AS KIDS
LOGLINE: A coming-of-age story set in the 2000s underground music scene, that follows quiet and naive punk, Casey, as he tries to piece together the broken memories recorded on his camcorder.
The film is the debut narrative production from Dylan Hryciuk & Versa Films, and acts as a proof of concept for a feature film that is in development. The project was financed through a successful grassroots kickstarter campaign and completed in May 2024, where it showed in festivals across North America, including LA, New York and Toronto. On October 28th, 2025, the film was released publicly on YouTube.

The short film acts as a 15 page proof of concept for our 100 page feature film we have in development.
The feature film is inspired by the director’s youth and is an ode to the eclectic music scene of metalcore, emo, pop punk and hardcore of the 2000s he grew up in, tackling themes of sexuality, mental health and brotherhood.
We want to be the first to authentically capture “The Warped Tour” generation on the big screen!!
