Spiritbox - “Constance”

“Constance” is a personal narrative driven music video that pulls from the directors’ experiences watching his grandmother go through dementia. The music video is an ode to director Dylan Hryciuk’s grandmother, Constance Hryciuk, whom the band named the song after. The song was released on her 88th birthday.

The music video amassed over 4,000,000 views and created an online buzz spawning endless press, reaction videos and theories. This was the fourth collaboration between Versa Films & Spiritbox and was released by Rise Records & Pale Chord Records.

This film was nominated for “Best Music Video” at the 2021 Saskatchewan Independent Film Awards and nominated for a Golden Sheaf Award at the 2022 Yorkton Film Festival (Performing Arts & Entertainment Category).
